David Stanford Biography

David Stanford is the president of The Motivation Group, a private consulting business that works specifically with career-focused schools and colleges throughout the USA and Canada. He has over 13 years of experience consulting with career colleges.

David is a frequent presenter to professional organizations, in-service programs, corporations, universities, national conferences and graduation ceremonies. David is a nationally known speaker on career school issues, personal motivation, higher education, and creative problem solving.

David recently served as the Vice President of Community Relations for Premier Education Group, Springfield, Massachusetts which owns 24 career schools throughout greater New England.

David has over 20 years of experience as an administrator in higher education. He has eight-years experience as a major gift fundraiser for University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, in Ohio, and Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. He has 12 years of experience in Career Services and Cooperative Education at Bowling Green State University, and has served in residential services as an admissions counselor for Thiel College Greenville, Pennsylvania.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania and a Master's of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University. David is a native of Akron, Ohio. David is married with four children. Currently David and his family reside in Cary, North Carolina.
